Bethel Seminary Scholarship for Members of the Mills Church

Bethel Seminary and The Mills Church are partnering to make the pursuit of a seminary education easier and more affordable. Staff and members of The Mills Church are eligible for a scholarship set annually at approximately 30% of the price of 8 credits of tuition. For the 2010-2011 academic year, the scholarship will be equal to $840/quarter ($3,360/year). To be eligible, enrollment must be maintained at two 4-credit courses per quarter. In addition, applicants may qualify for a need-based Bethel grant.
 
As a world-class evangelical seminary with locations in St. Paul, San Diego, and the Eastern Seaboard, as well as a model distance learning program, Bethel Seminary offers nine master of arts degrees, a master of divinity degree, a doctor of ministry degree, five graduate-level certificates, and a post-graduate certificate. Accreditors have praised the seminary’s approach to developing whole and holy Christian leaders through three-part emphases on biblical/theological foundations, transformational leadership, and spiritual and personal formation.

Online Bible 

BibleGateway.com:  This site has the Bible in multiple different translations and languages.  I use this often to look up different passages and compare translations.  It has easy search features so if you remember a word or two in a verse but can't remember where it is in the Bible this comes in handy.

Followtherabbi.com:  This site is hosted by Ray Vanderlaan who is a wonderful student of biblical context and background to the scriptures. 

Willow Creek Class Resources

classes.willowcreek.org: Willow Creek Church records their midweek course electives and they are usually very well done.  Check out courses in 7 areas: 1) Bible/Theology 2) Family Life 3) Faith in Action, 4) Finances, 5) Hope and support, 6) Spiritual Formation, 7) Training.  We belong to the Willow Creek Association which is an international network of churches.  You can go to the association site here WCA.  As a member church we get discounts on conferences and resources.  Contact Mike Ulasich for more information.
